One of the year's highlights for the legendary Air Max 95 was the debut of Nike SB's first-ever skate version. The Beaverton-based sub-brand unveiled two models with key changes tailored to skateboarding, unexpectedly making these pairs some of the most comfortable Air Max 95s in the silhouette's history . The third skate interpretation, codenamed the 110, continues this trend— the Nike SB Air Max 95 "Cacao Wow," which is as close as possible to the original gray gradient scheme of the OG. The pair is officially scheduled to release on January 17th .

All the key design changes familiar from previous versions of the Nike SB Air Max 95 are fully retained here, including those debuting in the "Cactus Flower" colorway. The upper is constructed of three layers of dense, high-quality suede, complemented by a leather overlay at the top for increased durability. Each layer features double stitching , distinguishing the SB version from standard lifestyle models.

The outsole features a herringbone tread pattern , better suited for grip tape traction, and the midsole features a seamless, one-piece Air unit —as opposed to the "big bubble" found in some running versions. Of particular note is the slightly wider last , which significantly improves stability—a feature skaters will immediately appreciate in practice.

Whether these changes make the shoe truly skateable is an open question and will undoubtedly be left to the discretion of the riders themselves (criticism from the skate community has already been voiced). However, one thing is certain: the Nike SB Air Max 95 is one of the most comfortable versions of the 95 ever. A quality that the classic running or lifestyle version, despite its iconic status, couldn't always boast.
